Tsakumis on October 30, 2008 - 3:21pm.When I endorsed Vision Vancouver’s Andrea Reimer for city council, some time ago, the buffoons in the blogosphere went berserk: “Tsakumis is a Conservative turncoat!”, “What strange bedfellows!”, “What’s Tsakumis drinking these days?” Pimm’s, frankly, and I recommend it.
But what idiotic lather!
I suppose I should stick to endorsing only those of my own political pedigree, because that will somehow make for a more enlightened and functional city?

Low voter turnout

Also, in the West End as in Fairview slopes, there are pockets of hardliner Vision support that by November 15th will have gone to the polls thrice: Federally, provincially and then municipally. It is an understatement to suggest that they are fatigued. And most of that new support for Vision is young, who are typically tough to get out on election day.
