Shawn Hall, the media spokesperson for Telus said his company backed out of the deal in 2006 because of the ever-growing scope of the project.
Cliff Ronning gets political

In a press release issued Thursday morning, Ronning noted that he is a "cousin-in-law" to Team city council candidate Dino Infanti and that he admires the group's work ethic, talent and diversity.
Team exodus
Submitted by Dan Hilborn on November 3, 2008 - 3:51pm.There’s been an exodus of expertise from Team Burnaby, with the departure of at least three senior campaign workers in less than two weeks.
The defections began three weeks ago when campaign manager John Cameron and media liaison Alise Mills left the civic party at about the same time that Team council candidate Stanley Jung resigned from the slate.
Last week, David Pasin told local newspapers that “philosophical differences” made it impossible for him to continue as the replacement campaign manager.
