Langley City is back in the hands of Peter Fassbender for another three years.
The incumbent mayor was considered a shoo-in for the mayors seat and it showed in the voting.
Fassbender beat his only challenger, Ron Abgrall, 2,683 votes to 822.
On the council side, incumbents Gayle Martin, Teri James and Jack Arnold are returning for another term.
They’ll be joined by Rosemary Wallace, Dave Hall and Rudy Storteboom.
About 20 per cent of 17,419 eligible voters turned out for the vote.
