BCA total landslide
By nearly a two-to-one margin, Derek Corrigan continues to rack up the votes against his Team Burnaby challenger, andrew Chisholm, as he carries his entire BCA slate to an overwhelming victory in Burnaby. The numbers for city council and school board are staggering. With 26 of 37 polls reporting, Pietro Calendino leads the way with 10,920 votes for city council, followed by Dan Johnston, Sav Dhaliwal, Colleen Jordan, Richard Chang, Nick Volkow, Anne Kang and Paul McDonell. The closest non-BCA candidate is Gary Begin of the Independent Voices, a full 1,300 votes behind McDonell, followed closely by Lee Rankin of Team Burnaby. Ron Burton leads the way for school board. The closest non-BCA candidate is former federal Liberal runner Franca Zumpano, who is about 700 votes out of the running for the seventh and final spot.
