A massive landslide victory for Mayor Dianne Watts of Surrey and her entire Surrey First team. Her opponents didn't even come close to her and her six colleagues.

A new addition to council is Barindet Rasode who ran with Watts. Rasode told 24 hours: "I will work very hard to maintain the trust that the people of Surrey have given me. We have so much to build upon. I'm very proud of all my teammates and particularly the Mayor. She's been spectacular."

Indeed.
