Vancouver's most tightly contested race will see two suit-wearing, bicycle-riding, enviro-loving entrepreneurs squaring off. Figuring out how to set themselves apart may be first on the to-do list for Peter Ladner and Gregor Robertson's campaign teams. Ladner can expect his party's traditional west side base to come out in force to support his centre-right Non-Partisan Association. Robertson's centre-left Vision Vancouver may boast thousands more card-carrying members than the NPA, but can the former NDP MLA inspire the city's other side - the almost 70 per cent of registered voters who didn't cast a ballot in the last election - to vote for him?
