Port Moody Snapshot

Port Moody residents will finally have a choice when voting for their city’s next leader.

Mayor Joe Trasolini, who won re-election by acclamation in 2005, is being challenged by 46-year-old resident Shane Kennedy.

Kennedy said he was motivated to run by the recent debate over a Plasco Energy proposal to build a waste-to-energy facility in the city.
