Reilly 'not a sexist' despite ad

Mayoralty candidate Mike Reilly has had to publicly refute allegations he is sexist after placing a now-contentious advertisement in a local newspaper. In it, he said that his gender is one of the reasons he will lead differently than the incumbent, who is a woman. 

The full-page advertisement, which contained a letter outlining his background and reasons why he would be best suited for mayor, ran in the Delta Optimist. He wrote that as a man, he processes information and approaches conflicts differently.
