Aveteran of Richmond municipal politics who served for nearly 20 years on council – nine as mayor – Halsey-Brandt says the city needs to reconnect with its citizens and has become too consumed by the Olympic Oval.
Halsey-Brandt declined to run for mayor, citing time constraints.
